Internal DevelopmentExperience has shown that it is often far from easy for a company to develop from the stage where the principals are also the sales force through to having a well-managed professional sales team (albeit only two or three people) reporting to the principals. This may be due to any combination of organisational reasons, difficulty in obtaining the right staff, lack of training, and lack of management time. Most large consultancies are costly and do not have the experience of smaller companies that would enable them to give truly practical help, while recruitment firms usually just want to help you recruit, which is not likely to be the entire answer. Practical help must be based on an understanding of your business plan. It might mean any combination of training, organisational changes, management help, and recruitment. WHPP believes experience in small/medium companies is crucial. Without such experience neither your business plan nor your business structure will be properly understood. WHPP can provide relevant experience and the assistance you need either directly or through a network of contacts with strong backgrounds in a broad range of industries. |
